About Perez Law Group

A Family-Founded Firm With Over 27 Years Serving California

Our founder, Ricardo Antonio Pérez, started Pérez Law, PC in 1998 with the support of his wife, Junieth Pérez, out of a small garage in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Before becoming an attorney, Ricardo worked in the injury law field beginning in 1985 as a licensed private investigator and claims adjuster, which gave him an inside understanding of how insurance companies evaluate and handle injury claims. That background continues to shape how we approach every case today.

In 2000, Ricardo partnered with his cousin Héctor “Tory” Planas to form Planas & Pérez, LLP in El Monte, California. Both Ricardo and Tory had immigrated from Cuba in the 1960s and brought a strong commitment to hard work and community service to their practice. The partnership continued until Tory’s passing in 2007. Ricardo’s son, Ricardo Agustín Pérez, joined us in 2014 and now leads our Workers’ Compensation Department while co-managing our Personal Injury practice, carrying forward the family’s second generation of service to California clients.

Perez Law Mission

Our Mission and How We Work

Our mission is to put our clients first and work tirelessly to meet their needs. We are counselors, strategists, advocates, negotiators, and trial attorneys committed to ethical, thorough, and honest representation.

Our clients are often dealing with real financial pressure, physical pain, and uncertainty about what comes next. We take that seriously. Whether the matter involves a serious personal injury, a denied workers’ compensation claim, a workplace harassment situation, or a civil abuse case, we bring the same attention to detail and the same commitment to clear communication that has defined our firm since 1998.

We handle all personal injury and employment cases on a contingency basis – meaning you pay no attorney fee unless we recover compensation for you. If you are not sure whether you have a case, a free evaluation costs you nothing and puts no obligation on you.

I cannot thank Alani enough for her help with my workers' comp case. She is incredibly responsive and attentive to her client’s needs. Whenever I had a question regarding the status of my file, she responded immediately and thoroughly. She was always proactive in checking on my medical treatment and kept me updated. Her empathy was a calming and compassionate guide during a stressful time. She truly treated me like a person rather than just a claim number. It is rare to find someone so dedicated and knowledgeable in navigating the legal process. Words cannot express the gratitude and appreciation I have for Alani, as well as the incredible office staff and all the attorneys involved in my case at the Perez Law, PC.
