Pérez Law, PC began as a personal injury firm in 1998, founded by Ricardo Antonio Pérez in his garage in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, with the support of his wife, Junieth Pérez. The firm quickly grew, expanding to Ontario, CA. In 2000, Ricardo partnered with his cousin, Héctor “Tory” Planas, to form Planas & Pérez, LLP in El Monte, CA. Both immigrants from Cuba in the 1960s, they brought with them a strong work ethic and dedication to their clients. After Tory’s passing in 2007, Ricardo’s son, Ricardo Agustín Pérez, joined the firm in 2014, leading the workers’ compensation department and continuing the family tradition of service.

RICARDO ANTONIO PÉREZ

Ricardo Antonio Pérez is the founding partner of Pérez Law, PC, and has practiced in the fields of personal injury and workers’ compensation for over 20 years.

Born in Palma Soriano, Cuba, Mr. Pérez fled the island in 1968 and moved to Los Angeles with his parents and two sisters. Mr. Pérez got his start in personal injury at the age of 25 working as a private investigator and claims adjuster. It is here that he met his wife, Junieth, with whom he has been married for over 30 years.

In 1998, Mr. Pérez started the Law Offices of Ricardo A Pérez, and in 2000 he partnered with his cousin, the late Héctor “Tory” Planas, to found the Law Office of Planas & Pérez in El Monte, which later became Pérez Law, PC in Ontario.

Mr. Pérez has a reputation for advocating honestly and zealously on behalf of his clients, and working tirelessly to get the best possible outcome in all of his cases. He has handled many complex catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, sexual harassment, and sexual assault cases, and his clients know him to go above and beyond in giving each and every client the personal attention that they deserve.

RICARDO AGUSTÍN PÉREZ

Ricardo Agustín Pérez is an attorney at Pérez Law, PC who handles personal injury and workers’ compensation matters.

Mr. Pérez earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of La Verne, and his law degree from Chapman University School of Law. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2014.

Having grown up in the family firm, Mr. Pérez has been involved in every aspect of the practice since a young age, giving him experience beyond his years as a lawyer. He has overseen hundreds of personal injury and workers’ compensation cases and has obtained millions of dollars in recovery for his clients, while providing a high level of personal attention to each and every client.

In his spare time, Mr. Pérez is an avid traveler, car enthusiast, and armchair social media critic.
