Ricardo Antonio Pérez is the founder and lead attorney of Pérez Law, PC, and has dedicated nearly four decades to advocating for injured individuals and workers throughout California. Before becoming a lawyer in 1998, he managed two established personal injury firms beginning in 1985, giving him invaluable insight into the strategies that win cases and the struggles accident victims face.
Born in Palma Soriano, Cuba, Mr. Pérez immigrated to Los Angeles with his family in 1968. At the age of 25, he began his career as a licensed private investigator and claims adjuster, where he also met his wife, Junieth. Those early experiences sharpened his investigative skills and instilled the client-centered values that continue to guide his practice.
In 1998, Mr. Pérez opened his own office in Rancho Cucamonga. Two years later, he partnered with his cousin, the late Héctor “Tory” Planas, to form Planas & Pérez in El Monte. After Mr. Planas’s passing in 2007, the firm became Pérez Law, PC, which now operates from multiple offices across Southern California. Over the course of his career, Mr. Pérez has handled thousands of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, sexual harassment, and serious workplace injury cases, earning a reputation for relentless advocacy, compassion, and results.
Clients know Mr. Pérez for his honesty, personal attention, and accessibility. He is actively involved in every case and leads a team of attorneys, case managers, and staff who share his dedication to service. A proud advocate for Spanish-speaking clients and immigrant families, he has represented generations of families who continue to trust him for guidance.
Outside of his legal work, Mr. Pérez is a family man and community supporter. He and his wife, Junieth, have raised three children and support causes including education, church leadership, and charitable medical missions. His personal and professional legacy is one of service, grounded in integrity, hard work, and faith in justice.
