Manuela Menéndez has been a cornerstone of the firm since 2000 and has served as the Workers’ Compensation Manager since 2018. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Manuela plays a central leadership role in managing and overseeing the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department in our Pomona, CA location, ensuring clients receive responsive and knowledgeable support throughout their cases.
With over two decades of experience and ongoing training in California workers’ compensation law, Manuela oversees the day-to-day operations of a busy legal team, ensuring that all case activity—from the opening of a case and medical treatment coordination to QME processes, discovery, hearings, and settlements—is moving forward efficiently and strategically. Manuela also works closely with attorneys on case development, quality control, and staff training, drawing from her extensive knowledge of the workers’ compensation system.
She has guided clients through complex and multifaceted cases with care and precision. She’s known for her calm leadership, attention to detail, and deep commitment to helping injured workers navigate a stressful system with confidence.
Manuela found her way into workers’ compensation by chance, but stayed because of the meaningful impact she can make in people’s lives. She finds fulfillment in supporting her team, solving problems, and ensuring clients feel heard and protected every step of the way.
Outside of work, Manuela enjoys gardening, cooking, and hosting gatherings. She values quality time with family and friends and finds joy in creating warm, welcoming spaces for the people she loves.
