Luis Fernando Gutiérrez Escalante joined Pérez Law, PC in July 2024 and quickly established himself as a thoughtful and reliable part of the Workers’ Compensation team. Just a few months later, he was promoted and now plays an important role in some of the firm’s most complex, high-value cases.
Luis helps keep cases moving by managing the PQME process, coordinating medical appointments, filing and amending applications, preparing hearing documents, and staying on top of deadlines. He regularly communicates with clients, insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and the WCAB, making sure everyone stays informed and that no detail gets overlooked.
With a background in civil engineering and strong language skills in both Spanish and English, Luis brings a calm, analytical mindset to his work—and a steady, supportive presence to the clients he assists. He’s known for his patience, kindness, and genuine commitment to helping injured workers navigate a system that’s often overwhelming.
Luis got his start handling utilization review determinations and quickly earned the trust of his colleagues with his professionalism and care. Outside the office, he’s a passionate guitarist and avid reader—creative outlets that reflect the same focus and curiosity he brings to his role at the firm.
